The Music
The Justin Lacroix Band's music speaks for
itself. It's groovy, it's playful, and it's
magnetic. It is the way they communicate and
the way they participate in the world
around them. Whether the style is folk,
rock, funk or blues the band's ambition is to
create a heartfelt experience for their
audience by creating music that is honest
and meaningful to them. The live show is an
uplifting spectacle highlighted by a tight
rhythm section, imaginative guitar riffs
and sweet three-part vocal seduction.
The Fellowship
The Justin Lacroix Band hails from
Manitoba's francophone community. Yes! The
show is bilingual. Since French and English
come naturally to the band members,
embracing both languages allows a true
expression of themselves.
Justin's first solo bilingual recording,
Boogieman (2OO5), was well received and has
sold over 2OOO copies to date. Shortly after
its release, Justin enlisted the talents of
Joël Perreault, Joel Couture and Ivan Burke,
to further develop and expand the live
show. Since then the four friends have been
touring between Vancouver and Montreal and
can be seen regularly at home in Winnipeg.
